Growing up surrounded by generations of seamstresses and quilters, you’d think I’d have embraced sewing much earlier, right? Surprisingly, it wasn’t until I was expecting my first child that I dove into the craft headfirst. Stitching up adorable outfits for my daughter on special occasions became a passion I couldn’t shake. Now, her closet is like something out of a fairytale.
After spending years honing my sewing and design skills professionally, I launched Sunflower Seams Pattern Co in 2021. My vision is to offer children’s clothing and hand embroidery patterns that not only delight you but also win the hearts of your little ones. In the midst of building a thriving business and empowering women to find joy in sewing, I’ve been obsessed with mastering everything about textile design.
Inspired by my experiences as a military wife and the diverse places we’ve called home, people describe my designs as sentimental, endearing, and a tad playful.
Having lived all across the United States, I’ve now rooted myself on the Emerald Coast of Florida with my husband and 2 kids. When I’m not immersed in fabrics and threads, you’ll find me tending to my garden, attending Barre classes, hunting for seashells, or jumping waves with my kiddos.
